DLP Works on office building in Peru

May 2012.- DLP announced the beginning of the construction of an office building, located in Miraflores neighborhood in the city of Lima, Peru.

The project will have a total built area of 13,840m² and considers an approximate investment of US$20 million.

Likewise, the design of the structure incorporates a balcony in the front of the west façade – of about 50cm wide – which allows the protection of the solar radiation that exists in the area. Its main characteristics are given by a system of aluminum foil wooden blinds, with manual sliding windows and moveable slats that add sensitivity in the desired dimmer.

This will grant the building a greater control of its temperature and, consequently, decrease the amount of heating or air conditioning.
